Will likely be coached into utilizing his capabilities in initial & early acceleration as a through contact weapon to maximize hidden yardage. Less ball security risk.

He's not a particularly tough out if you're a higher caliber linebacker initiating directly - hasn't learned to chain his capabilites as an accelerator into power with consistency, yet. Love's through contact skillset was his lowest film grade: 32nd percentile. Doesn't offer more than average-level traits through contacts - doesn't have the ability to shed defenders to gain additional yardage right now.
Angles - Screens - Options - Wheels. The whole running back tree is open for Love to utilize. Not as scary as your Gibbs, Achane type receivers out of the backfield - however he is just a notch below in the 91st percentile in terms of grade.
Separates from backers with ease & provides a bevy of problems for defensive backs in open areas. Wouldn't be surprised if he hits 50 receptions as a Rookie.

Appreciate how easily he can go from lateral to linear at high speeds while maintaining his climb through acceleration. Has top-shelf throttle control & maneuverability from the 1st to 2nd level.
