2025 Pre-draft Guide
A lot of people draft their dynasty teams prior to the NFL Draft, so here you go!
1.01 - Ashton Jeanty
1.02 - Travis Hunter
1.03 - Cam Ward
1.04 - TreyVeyon Henderson
1.05 - Emeka Egbuka
1.06 - Omarion Hampton
1.07 - Tyler Warren
1.08 - Tet McMillan
1.09 - Matthew Golden
1.10- Luther Burden
- Jeanty profiles as the safest bet for immediate production with first-round backs receiving 18 touches per game as Rookies.
- If Hunter goes to Cleveland @ 2 it won’t surprise me if he ends up being a top fifteen fantasy receiver from the jump. Andrew Barry views him as a receiver first which matters on an offense that was bottom three in the league statistically.
- If you’re in 6pt per passing touchdown or tight end premium, Ward & Warren/Loveland will go a bit higher. Warren may just the be more impactful fantasy Tight End due to rushing upside & weekly floor.
- Any running back that goes in the first round is worth taking early due to projected touch share. Can expect RB2 + production from Y1.
- McMillan going to a situation where he isn’t drawing primary coverage will be ideal for his long term development - just like Higgins & Chase in Cincy.
- Burden may end up being the best of them all. Golden the better bet for safe production due to projected top 18 capital while Burden is expected to slide into Day 2.
2.01 - Jalen Milroe
2.02 - Colston Loveland
2.03 - Quinshon Judkins
2.04 - Cam Skattebo
2.05 - Jaylin Noel
2.06 - Jack Bech
2.07 - Shedeur Sanders
2.08 - Tre Harris
2.09 - Kaleb Johnson
2.10- R.J Harvey
- Milroe is a wildcard, but if you’re in 4pt per passing touchdown he’s the lotto ticket you want in the early second.
- Draft capital will matter the most for the running backs here - look for the backs who are projected early second round capital first seeing that their grades are all within the same tier. Skattebo falling out of the Day 2 is my most likely high grade faller while Judkins a projected riser with expected top 50 capital.
- Receiver is tough to protect, but Noel being essentially the second slot receiver drafted solidifies job security & starting opportunity from Y1. Bech projects as a safer bet for early career production as well with Harris being the ‘boom’ guy if he remains durable.
- Johnson is a dart throw, but one that could hit BIG if he lands in a sound wide-zone scheme.
- Sanders from a talent perspective should get pushed down, however I think there is a good chance he goes in the top 25 to a situation with good playmakers, which is worth a QB2 spot in deep leagues or 6pt per passing TD.
3.01 - Jaxson Dart
3.02 - Brashard Smith
3.03 - Dylan Sampson
3.04 - Jayden Higgins
3.05 - Tahj Brooks
3.06 - Jalen Royals
3.07 - Damien Martinez
3.08 - Harold Fannin Jr.
3.09 - Kyle Williams
3.10 - Mason Taylor
- A ton of value to be had with the RB’s here. Smith is a swing for the fences with the potential for a high-touch share by year two in the right system (please Sean Peyton)
- Higgins is someone who could go in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, if that’s the case you’re drafting him in RD2 here. Could be the second “X” receiver off the board after McMillan.
- Royals is a first-round type talent at his ceiling who will get pushed down to maybe late Day 2 with the injury - could flip a receiver room on it’s head if he lands in the right spot.
- If you’re in TE premium Taylor is worth drafting earlier - will likely hear his name called in the top 40.
- I don’t love Dart as a prospect, however if he gets first round capital he should be drafted way earlier than this.
4.01 - Ollie Gordon II
4.02 - Bhayshul Tuten
4.03 - D.J Giddens
4.04 - Devin Neal
4.05 - Trevor Etienne
4.06 - Savion Williams
4.07 - Jaydon Blue
4.08 - Lan Larison
4.09 - LaQuint Allen
4.10 - Xavier Restrepo
- Tuten is a big time wildcard. Could be drafted in RD2, if so he volatility he brings is worth it.
- Savion Williams is one of those hybrid guys that a team will have to have a plan for utilization-wise. I think he's a better RB than WR, let's hope the NFL views him the same way.
- Blue is one of my favorite young players in the cycle, can be a good player in Y2 or Y3.
- Restrepo is going to likely hear his name called on Day 3, but if he gets into a situation with a thin slot receiver position he could steal a job soon. Has the reliable tools to do so. Texans, Bengals, Steelers come to mind.
